We purchased in spring of 2006, and within months we have mildew stain everywhere, it looks like a leopard. We tried many types of cleaners, which only were temporary, the spotting came back within weeks. We've delt directly with trex, and they said they couldn't help us because in the warranty it states our problem was due to the environment. They did say they would give us 25% off cleaing supplies. How B.S. !!! This is not a maintenance free deck at all. It needs to be cleaned and sealed they say twice a year, but if your around a bunch of trees (pollen) this mildew could happen. I will not rest untill everyone it aware of how horrible this product is. We're embarrassed of how our deck looks, and our only hope it to tear down our $25,000 investment and start over. Do NOT buy.!!!!! | |
