Easy Bookmark Management
With this interface you can manage your links by Draging and Dropping them into their new location.
Editing Bookmarks is easy. With one click you will have the edit sceen appear and then you can save to finish.
All this is done without page reloads so that your management is quick and painless. StartAid is more of an application than a webpage.
Save & Share Bookmarks
Once you find someone that has bookmarked sites that interest you, you can add them to your friends list so that you easily discover websites from your new friend. You can do this by enabling the friend filter on the Public pages (bottom left of the Public pages next to the sorting options) and then you will see only those links submitted by your friends.
You can also view your friend's public link page in order to try and discover new websites. You can even send links to friends or create your own Personal Share Group.
Customize Your Personal Homepage
You can have your homepage display in Category View where there are large Thumbnails of all your bookmarks. In this way you can simply click on the picture of your bookmark and then your chosen webpage will load.
If you like Tags more than categories you can also set your Homepage to open in Tag format instead.
By default your website will open in Category Format. This can be changed by accessing the "Account Configuration" Subtab of "My Links". In the Account configuration you can control all aspects of your personal account. The section we are interested in for now is "Default Tabs and Sub Tabs". Whatever Tab the Default Flag is over will be what loads when you go to your StartAid Homepage. If you want to have tags Display instead of Categories, drag and drop the Default Flag Over "My Tags"
You can also control which SubTabs open by default when you click on the parent Tab, simply Drag and Drop the Default Flag over your choice.
